Oulton Week 2025 17th to 22nd August 

ENTRIES MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE. The entry form is here: OW Entry Form 2025.pdf Entries to be received by the club by 4 pm on Saturday 16th August. Please down-load the form, print it off, fill it in, and return it to the Club in paper form, or take a photo and return via email.

Entry fees: for helms aged 18 or under. £1 per race; everyone else £3 per race.

Fast Handicap is for dinghies with PY of 1162 or less. In addition, K1 and Flying Fifteen keelboats are permitted to compete in Fast Handicap races. 

Slow Handicap is for dinghies with PY of 1163 to 1665. The Race Committee may invite certain slow handicap boats to race in Fast Handicap series. 

The Lasers/ILCAs class race in the mornings is for standard rig (ILCA 7) and radial rig (ILCA 6) boats only. Handicaps will apply. They can change to smaller rigs but will be scored with the handicap that applies to the rig they entered with. They cannot change to larger rigs. At other times of the day, standard and radial rigs will sail in Fast Handicap races. 

Laser 4.7 (ILCA 4) rigs will sail in Slow Handicap races. 

Optimists have their own class races in the mornings. 

Norfolk Dinghies will sail in Slow Handicap races. The first Norfolk in the 15.21 Slow Handicap series will be awarded the Tideway Tankard.

Hansa 303 Dinghies will race on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only. 

Mixed One Designs is restricted to W.O.D, B.O.D., Y&B.O.D. and Squibs. 

River Cruiser split start will be decided by the class. Please note: the Fast and Slow fleets will sail in separate races but both will count toward the final results. 

Blackburn Trophy: Four-a-side Keelboat Team Race between WOD, BOD, Y&BOD and Squibs. Helms must have competed in a class race during Oulton Week 2025 of the class they are chosen to represent. 

The Bloodbath Race on Friday afternoon is an Allcomers average lap handicap race with a split start - Fast boats at 15:45, slower boats at 15:48. See club noticeboard for list of classes/boats in each start. 

Briefing and Commodores Reception: Saturday 16th August at 19.00 hrs 

Prize giving: Friday at 18.30 hrs under the awning.
