Topper Success

Nathan (and Anna!) spent the weekend at Carsington Water Sailing Club where the top 24 ranked Topper sailors in Great Britain were invited for a weekend of top level coaching by ITCA. The coaches consisted of Steve Irish (Olympic level coach) Tom Goodbourn (Top level Topper coach) and Joe Rowe (2022 Topper World Champion and now coach) and focused on race strategy and tactics within a quality fleet. (Nathan is currently ranked 24th.). It was a full on weekend of sailing and in the afternoon of Sunday finished with a mini championship to test out what they had learnt. Nathan sailed his socks off over the weekend and left everything he had on the water, the result of which meant he only went and won the mini championship!

Well done Nathan for an excellent result!
