Abandoned boats

The policy for how W&OBYC deals with boats abandoned in the dinghy park and other areas around the club.

WOBYC will dispose of any boats/craft/trailers regarded as abandoned in accordance with House Rule 7:

'Any craft and/or trailer that regularly occupies space within the dinghy park and remains there two months or more after fees are due, may be disposed of by the club. In accordance with the WOBYC Abandoned Boats Procedure'.

We may not be certain of current ownership and/or payment for storage is owing. If you have any recent knowledge of the owners of any abandoned boats in the WOBYC dinghy park, please get in touch via dinghypark@wobyc.com.
