Boat Shed

The boat shed at the top of the launching area can be used by members for their boats. Administration of the Boat Shed and issuing of keys and guidance is handled by Phil Cooper (07885 932346 or barkirk@hotmail.com).

The following rules apply to the boat shed:

Boats and gear may only be put into the boat shed if space has been booked and paid for in advance. The access to the long bench on the north side should be kept clear.

All boats in the boat shed shall be adequately insured.

The boat shed must be kept locked with the power turned OFF at all times when it is not manned.

Users of the boat shed must ensure that it is kept clean and tidy after use. Any damage noticed must be reported at once.

The trolley, double ladder and step ladder are not to be removed and must be accessible for use at all times. Do not leave a boat on the trolley.

No cans of petrol or other dangerous goods may be stored in the boat shed.

All boats and gear must be removed 2 weeks before Oulton Week. Anything left in the boatshed during the 2 weeks before Oulton Week will be disposed of.
